Javier Loera, Chief Principal

LEAP was started four years ago by Javier. After relocating from the Midland/Odessa area to Lubbock to be closer to family and pursue the call of ministry, he felt led to start something that would cater, assist, and help strengthen the nonprofit sector of the South Plains Region. Javier is BoardSource Certified in Nonprofit Board Consulting and certified in ToP Facilitation Methods.

His expertise in board training, board governance, discussion facilitation, and strategic planning has been pivotal in both nonprofit start-ups and multi-million dollar foundations across West Texas.

In addition, he has worked the marketing field for over 20 years as a graphic designer, web designer, marketing technology officer, director, and consultant.

Javier, his wife, Brittney, and two children live in Slaton, TX, and can find him behind a BBQ pit more often times than not. When Javier isn’t doing the fun of nonprofits, you can find him doing all things marketing for a commercial real estate company in Lubbock or find him and Brittney hanging out with the most incredible people in all the land as Lead Pastors of Lighthouse Church in Slaton.
